Cisco Anyconnect Download Mac Big Sur

The Cisco AnyConnect Client must be installed before using UTORvpn on OS X.

Download the OS X Client file. Choose the appropriate version for the Mac OS you have. You must have a valid UTORid and be eligible for the service.
Open the .dmg file, an administrator on your computer to do this.
Double click on AnyConnect.pkg to start the installer.
Click Continue and accept the Licence.
Uncheck all modules except VPN. Click Continue.
Complete the Install. You may need to enable the AnyConnect System Extension before using the software. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Start the AnyConnect and connect to UTORvpn.

Download the AnyConnect VPN client for macOS 10.13 - 10.14 (High Sierra to Mojave), macOS 10.15 (Catalina), or macOS 11.0 (Big Sur). In your Downloads folder, double-click the file you just downloaded to open it. An icon will appear on the desktop called AnyConnect, and a separate window will open.

I have no issue with the Windows version of this software but in Mac I can't connect at all. This is the software that was provided to me by the cisco chat support. Anyconnect-macos-4.9.01095-predeploy-k9.dmg / 31.757 MB AnyConnect Pre-Deployment Package (Mac OS) I am currently using macOS Cataline V10.15.6.

Getting Connected

Open the AnyConnect Client.
Enter or select general.vpn.utoronto.ca and click Connect.
An authentication window will open for the group “utorvpn”. Enter your UTORid and Password. Click OK.
Your computer will now notify you that it is connected to the VPN.

Disconnecting

Open the AnyConnect Client
Click Disconnect.

Instructions and information about connecting using WiFi, VPN and remote desktops.

Select the wireless icon at bottom right.
Select WUSM-secure from list of networks.
Click Connect (check Connect automatically if you’d like).
A security box may appear. If so, click Connect.
Enter user name and password (or click the checkbox next to “Use Windows credentials” to have your info filled in automatically).
User Name: Your WUSTL key preceded by ACCOUNTS
Password: Your usual WUSTL key password
Click OK.
You may have to enter your WUSTL key password another time, and click Connect.
The wireless icon in lower right shows successful connection.

Workspace ONE (formerly Airwatch)

Mobile devices will need Workspace ONE installed before connecting to WUSM-secure.

VPN

VPN allows you to connect to University resources requiring a secure Washington University network connection to access.
You must have WUSTL 2FA enabled for your account in order to use VPN. For more information, see it.wustl.edu/2fa
Many tools do not require a VPN connection to access them. For example, Canvas, Zoom, Teams, Box, Outlook, and Office 365 apps. For a list of WashU systems that do and do not require VPN, view WashU Systems VPN Requirements (PDF).
You will need to be granted access to use VPN. Your office computer will need to be configured to allow remote connections. (Does not apply to Danforth students)

To request VPN access, complete the online ServiceNow request form. New requests for VPN access are subject to departmental approval. (Does not apply to Danforth students)
